The HYSHORE project was created with the aim of decarbonising the maritime sector, seeking energy alternatives to fossil fuels and placing the Basque industry in a leading position to generate wealth and employment.
It focuses on the field of hydrogen and its “green” generation by means of offshore wind renewable energy, tackling different technological challenges faced by the industry related to the transport and logistics of this hydrogen generated in wind farms.
BOSLAN is the technical coordinator and integrator of the project, defining the requirements and design criteria for the developments of the other participating companies.
HYSHORE brings together feasibility analysis for the best location of an offshore green hydrogen generation facility, and the development of a Digital Twin for the monitoring and generation of predictive models of failures with PHM (Proportional Hazard Model) and Machine Learning modelling techniques.
The Digital Twin of the HYSHORE project, designed with the BIM collaborative work methodology, also allows the analysis of capital and operating costs throughout its life cycle, forecasting amortisations based on fluctuations in the electricity market, wind profiles and commercialised green hydrogen.
