The 2022 Load Out campaign at the JVNW facilities in Fene (Spain) has ended. After final assembly, 24 of the 62 foundation structures which have departed to the Saint Brieuc Offshore Windfarm to continue with the Offshore jacket installation campaing. With this milestone, the Saint-Brieuc offshore Windfarm, located 16 km off the coast and covering an area of 75 km2, is closer to the start of its operational phase scheduled for the end of 2023.
It is estimated that it will produce 1820 gigawatt hours (GWh) per year, covering the demand of 835,000 people. This will be possible thanks to the 62 turbines of 8 MW each, which will provide a total installed capacity of 496 megawatts (MW). Thanks to all the teams involved to achieve this, specially to the “BOSLAN Site Team” in Fene.
